Introduction

Every year, on October 31, India observes National Unity Day, also known as “Rashtriya Ekta Diwas”. This significant day commemorates the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, a pivotal figure in India's struggle for independence and the first Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister of India. It was introduced by the Government of India in 2014. The day is celebrated to mark the birth anniversary of Vallabhbhai Patel who had a major role in the political integration of India. It will provide an opportunity to re-affirm the inherent strength and resilience of our nation to withstand the actual and potential threats to the unity, integrity, and security of our country.

Accordingly, to celebrate 31st October, 2024 as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas with great enthusiasm and elation, organized various appropriate programs including the i. Oath taking ceremonies (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Pledge is attached) ii. Runs for Unity in suitable areas.
